We are just two weeks away until our night of celebrations. Excitement is building, the committee is working away behind the scenes organising what will be a great night and one to remember.
This Celebration Banquet is a strictly over 18 event. Anyone under 18 looking to attend must be accompanied by their parents and have their ticket purchased by their parents. Galbally Pearses will not accept any responsibility for anyone under the age of 18 attending the event.
Music will be provided by ‘The Miracles’, it’s sure to be a great night to celebrate all what Galbally Pearses achieved in 2019.
We waited 61 years to win a Championship, then we went and won both leagues with the Seniors and Reserves. If ever there was a year to celebrate our clubs achievements this is it. It’s a night not to be missed!
Club Membership is now due, this can be paid this Friday night in the club shop between 7:30pm and 8:30pm.

The planning has already begun for our annual Big Breakfast on St Patrick’s Day. Like every year it’s great for our community to come together and celebrate St Patrick’s Day Mass followed by a lovely breakfast, with lots of music and dancing for entertainment. Only this year we will have a few silver cups in attendance.
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club. If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week this will help towards the weekly costs in our club. Our lotto numbers this week were 16 – 6 – 7 – 9. There was no jackpot winner. Our 5 Lucky dip winners were: Francis Hughes, Catherine O’Neill, Ethna Corrigan, Christy McVeigh & Paul Rafferty. Our next jackpot draw will take place on Tuesday 3rd March & will be £5,750.
Our club shop will be opened this week on Friday from 7.30pm to 8pm for Club Gear & Membership.
The draw has been for the Senior Championship and we will play Trillick in the 1st round therefore it will be the Intermediate Champions 2019 v Senior Champions 2019.
We are pleased to announce that ‘Palfinger Ireland’ will be our new Reserve team sponsor. We would like to thank Seamus Kane and Luke Carberry for their continued support. They have been very supportive to our club over the years and we really appreciate it.
Our Minor girls match last week was called off due to bad weather. This week they are away to Loughmacrory on Sunday at 12noon. All support is welcome for the girls. We wish them and management the very best of luck for their coming season.
