Tickets are still available for our Celebration Banquet on Saturday 7th March 2020 which will be held in the Hillgrove hotel, Monaghan. Dress Code: Smart Music by the Miracles
Tickets are £50 each and are available to purchase on Friday 7th in the club shop between 7.30pm – 8.30pm.
This is strictly an over 18 event, anyone under 18 must have their ticket purchased by their parent and they must be accompanied by their parent (not a relative or designated person) on the night of the banquet.
Galbally Pearses does not accept any responsibility for anyone under the age of 18. There will be no exceptions to this.
Child Protection Course
Child Protection training is booked for 25th February in the Committee room from 7 – 9.30pm. This training is mandatory for club members dealing with children (under 18) within our club. Child Protection training Vetting applications will be placed in the committee room, along with a box to return completed forms and copies of ID.
Tyrone County Representation
Hard luck to Liam, Conor, Daniel and the Tyrone senior team who lost out to Monaghan in their league fixture at the weekend.
Well done to Laura Kane, who started in goals for Tyrone senior ladies in their league game against Armagh. Well done on a great win.
Well done to Barry Carberry who has made the 2020 Tyrone minor squad. Their league campaign is due to start on Saturday 29th February against Cavan. We wish Barry and all the team good luck for the season ahead.
Well done to our club representatives on the St. Ciaran’s Markey Cup team who won their semi final against St Louis Monaghan. They have now earned themselves a spot in the Markey Cup Ulster Final.
Club Membership is now due, this can be paid this Friday night in the club shop between 7:30pm and 8:30pm.

Unless you are a registered member of Galbally Pearses for 2020 you will not be insured whilst participating in any activities.
Our club shop will be opened this Friday night from 7.30pm – 8:30pm. We have received a delivery of official jerseys / shorts & skinny bottoms for anyone waiting on sizes. We are still waiting on delivery of additional half zip hoodies / jumpers etc. Keep an eye on social media for arrival of these items.
Save the date for our annual Big Breakfast on St.Patricks Day. It’s always a great morning out for all the community young and old. We hope to see you all there.
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club. If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week this will help towards the weekly costs in our club.
Our lotto numbers this week were 6 – 9 – 15 – 16. There was no jackpot winner. Our 5 Lucky dip winners were: Ailbhe McAuley, Peter Tally, Cohen Conway, Gabriel Kelly and Ryan Corrigan. Our next jackpot draw will take place on Tuesday 11th February & will be £5,600.
Our club shop will be opened on Friday 31st January from 7.30pm – 8pm for anyone who needs sizes changed or for any more sales.
The shop will not be opened again until early February.
Thoughts & Prayers
Piarsaigh an Ghallbhaile deeply regret the tragic and untimely death of our fellow Gael, Adrian McCloskey. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family, friends, work colleagues and all at Naomh Eargnait CLG. Ar dheis De go raibh anam.
