Celebration Banquet
Tickets are still available for our Celebration Banquet on Saturday 7th March 2020 which will be held in the Hillgrove hotel, Monaghan. Dress Code: Smart Music by the Miracles
Tickets are £50 each and are available to purchase on Friday 31st in the committee room between 8pm – 9pm.
This is strictly an over 18 event, anyone under 18 must have their ticket purchased by their parent and they must be accompanied by their parent (not a relative or designated person) on the night of the banquet.
Galbally Pearses does not accept any responsibility for anyone under the age of 18. There will be no exceptions to this.
Addiction Awareness Talk
Galbally CannyMan have organised an ‘Addiction Awareness Talk’ lead by Oisin McConville on Thursday 6th February at 7:30pm in Galbally Community Centre. If you feel that anyone could benefit from this talk, please encourage them to go. Remember it’s good to talk and ‘It’s Ok, to not be Ok’
Tyrone County Representation
Well Done to Liam Rafferty, Conor Quinn, Daniel Kerr and the Tyrone team on a good win over Meath in the opening round of the National League. It’s great to see three of our senior players making an impact on the Tyrone team.
Hard Luck to Laura Kane and the Tyrone ladies in their League game as they were defeated by Meath.
Well Done to Sean Hurson who refereed the Dublin v Kerry game on Saturday night.
Club Lotto
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club. If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week this will help towards the weekly costs in our club.
Our lotto numbers this week were 4 – 6 – 9 – 7. There was no jackpot winner. Our 5 Lucky dip winners were: Mickey Donnelly, Daniel McCrory, Leo Quinn, Brian Devlin & Cathy Murphy.
Our next Jackpot will be on Tuesday 4th February & will be £5,550.
Club Shop
Our club shop will be opened on Friday 31st January from 7.30pm – 8pm for anyone who needs sizes changed or for any more sales.
The shop will not be opened again until early February.
Thoughts & Prayers
The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of Gerard Quinn, Sheila Ross, Pat Currie, Gene Shortt, Vera McElroy, Susan Hurson, Mickey Hamill, Anita Corrigan, John Quinlivan, Annie Conlon & Pat Bell on their recent passing.
The club would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to any families in the area who are dealing with bereavement or illness in their family at this time.
