By Francis O'Neill Fri 13th Dec

Youth Presentation Night
We welcome all our Pearse Og’s from U6 to U16 (Boys & Girls) to Galbally Community Centre for our Annual Youth Presentation Night on Friday 13th December at 7pm. We look forward to welcoming all our youth who have played for Galbally Pearses in 2019 along with their parents and who knows what surprises might be in store. We would encourage everyone to come out in their club colours.
We will have presentations to our U14 Girls & U13 Boys Championship winners as well as our U14 girls who won the Tyrone Feile & All Ireland Feile Shield.
There will also be presentations to all the different age groups and all silverware won throughout the year will be available for everyone to see.
Our youth will receive a lovely token of appreciation for all their hard work and we will have some very special guests doing the presentations.
Food and refreshments will also be served.

U21 Championship
Commiserations to our U21 men who bowed out of the U21 Championship on Saturday night.  Our lads were 5 points down at half time and came out and fought hard against the wind in the second that saw them come up short by 2 points in the end.  A great team performance.
Final Score:  Galbally 3-06 Carrickmore 1-14

Club Lotto
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club.  If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week will help towards the weekly costs in our club.  This week our lotto numbers were 5 – 2 – 10 – 13.  There was no jackpot winner.  Our 5 Lucky dip winners were Alicia Coyle, Eamon Kane, S Quinn (Lurgylea Road), Paul Brannigan & Niamh Mallon.  Our Jackpot next week (Tuesday 17th December) will be £5,300.

Celebration Banquet – Save The Date
We have had a very special 2019 in our club.  Not only is our club celebrating its 70th Birthday (1949 – 2019) but we have loads of other reasons to celebrate. We are having a celebration banquet on Saturday 7th March 2020 and the venue is the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.  More details will follow in the next few weeks.
