Senior Men
On Saturday 19th October 2019 our senior men & management competed in the preliminary round of Ulster for the first time. A great game of football against the Armagh champions Grange saw our men take the lead early on winning on a scoreline of Galbally 0-16 Grange 1-05.
Next up is our reserve men who face Greencastle in the Reserve Championship Final on Thursday 24th October in Eoghan Ruadh Hurling Fields at 8pm. We are looking for as much support as possible to get our men over the line.
Greencastle is our opposition once again on Sunday afternoon in Greencastle as a must win match for both our reserve & senior men in order to be contenders for the Intermediate league title.
The following Sunday 4th November our senior men will be back in action in the Quarter Final of the Ulster Club Championship against the Cavan champions Laragh United at 2pm.
We are calling for our fantastic Galbally supporters to come out in force to get behind our men & management once again.
U16 Boys
Our U16 Boys and management’s season for 2019 came to an end on Saturday afternoon as they lost out to Coalisland in the semi final of the league.
U13 Boys
Well done to our U13 boys on a great win against our neighbours Pomeroy on Sunday morning. Our boys got off to a great start and held their lead throughout the match. Final Score: Galbally 8-21 Pomeroy 2-06.
Next up is away to Loughmacrory on Sunday morning at 11.30am. All support welcome.
Scor na nOg
On Friday evening (18th October) our club was represented in the Instrumental group section of Scor na nOg in Coalisland Parish Centre. This young group have made it through to the next round on Friday 8th November in St Patricks College, Dungannon. Well done to everyone, you have a great team behind you.
Club Lotto
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club. If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week will help towards the weekly costs in our club. This week our lotto numbers were 12 – 11 – 3 – 8. There was no jackpot winner. Our 5 Lucky dip winners were: Dessie Mullan, Mairead O’Neill, Brian Mullin, Conor Tally & E Quinn. Our Jackpot next week (Tuesday 29th October) will be £4,950.
