As our season is underway for most of our teams it is important that our players represent our club with pride.  We ask that every player comes ready for each match with the correct gear:
Galbally Jersey (U8/10’s only), Galbally White Crested Shorts, Galbally Blue Club Socks, Gloves (if required), appropriate outerwear.  These are available to purchase in our club shop on Friday nights (between 7.30pm & 8.30pm) and during Senior Men matches.

Pitch Maintenance
We are undergoing substantial maintenance on our pitches at the moment.  We have closed Pairc na nOg (Juvenile Pitch) until further notice.

Senior Men
ACL Division 1 Results:
Reserves: Final Score: – Galbally 4-12 Trillick 3-15
Seniors: Final Score: – Galbally 2-09 Trillick 0-15
Reserves & Seniors are away to Urney on Sunday at 2.15pm & 3.45pm respectively.

Senior Ladies
In round 2 of the intermediate league Galbally Pearses hosted Cookstown.  With a strong wind in the first half in Cookstown’s favour, Galbally Pearses defence stood strongly keeping Fr. Rocks Ladies at bay, with only a long distance strike beating our goalie Laura hitting the crossbar and in to give the Fr Rocks ladies a 1-7 til 1-1 lead at half time.  The Pearses scores came in way of Eimear Tally and a well worked goal from Niamh Donnelly.  With the absence of Amy Carberry and Shannon McKeown in defence and Catherine Walker in midfield the Pearses had a lot to do in the second half.  The ladies dug deep and at times in the second period came close to getting in touching distance.  Adrianna McNamee was the all-important cog in the engine that drove the Pearses on throughout the game but it wasn’t enough to topple Cookstown and some passages of play from the Fr Rocks ladies helped them finish the game 4-9 til 3-4 the better.  We wish a speedy recovery to Alicia McGuigan tonight and hopefully is fighting fit soon again.  Scorers:- Niamh Donnelly 2-0, Maeve McGlinchey 1-1, Eimear Tally 0-2 & Claire McKeown 0-1.  Next up is Donaghmore at home – date to be confirmed.
