Senior Men
Hard luck to our young team of senior men losing out to Granemore in their final Ulster League of 2017 on Sunday.  Focus is now on preparations for the Senior League at the beginning of April.

Minor Boys
Training continues this Wednesday night at 7.15pm sharp.  Our Minor Boys will be competing in Grade 1A this year and their first League Game is on Saturday 4th March at 12noon.  Galbally Pearses V Ardboe O’Donovan Rossa

Minor Girls
Training continues on Thursday night from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.  Everyone welcome.  Our minor girls earned themselves a well deserved draw in their opening league game on Saturday after a great comeback to even the scores on a final score line Donaghmore 6-08 Galbally 6-08.  Great performances all round especially in the latter stages of the match

U14 Girls

Pearse Og Programme
Our ever popular Pearse Og Programme will run for 5 weeks beginning on Thursday 9th March in Galbally Community Centre – time to be confirmed.  This will be strictly for current Primary 1 & 2 children.


Club Lotto
No Jackpot Winner.  This week’s numbers (Tuesday 28th February) were: 12, 8, 10 & 16.  Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each were: Michael O’Hagan, Shannon McKeown, Rose McGeary, Stephen McVeigh & Catherine Dorrity.  Next week’s jackpot returns to £2400.  Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 7th March at 9pm.  If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office.  Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Coffee Morning
We would encourage as many of our members to show their support for the family & friends of Plunkett Quinn in a mass and coffee morning on Saturday 4th March.  Mass in St John’s Chapel, Galbally at 9.30am followed by a Coffee Morning in Galbally community Centre from 10am to 1pm.

Congratulations
Well done to Cathal Kelly, Conor Quinn, Cormaic Donnelly, Caoimhin Quinn, Peadar McCaughey & Marc Lennon and the rest of the St Ciaran’s School on getting to the McLarnon Final.  Good luck in the Final on St Patrick’s Day.

Club Shop
Our Club Shop will be opened this Friday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  Membership for 2017 can be paid during this time.

Club Membership
We welcome back our existing members this year and would also encourage new members to come and be part of our club.  Only paid up members for 2017 are eligible and insured to use club facilities and train/play for Galbally Pearses.   It is important that anyone who intends to play football for our club is registered – if you are not registered you will not be able to play, apply for Gaeltacht Grant or participate in the Scor.  Thank you for your continued support & we welcome you to be a part of our GAA community & club.  We will be holding a registration evening in February – more details to follow.
