Membership
We welcome back our existing members this year and would also encourage new members to come and be part of our club. Only paid up members for 2016 are eligible and insured to use club facilities and train/play for Galbally Pearses. We are holding a Membership Registration evening in our Club Shop on Friday 12th February from 7.30pm to 8.30pm – it is important that anyone who intends to play football for our club is registered – if you are not registered you will not be able to play, apply for Gaeltacht Grant or participate in the Scor. Thank you for your continued support and we welcome you to be a part of our GAA community and club. Forms attached for your convenience.
2016 Membership: Adults: – £30// Husband & Wife: – £50 // Student/Over 65 years: – £10 // Youth (Under 18): – £5 – Please note that if you are a Club na Piarsaigh member this covers membership for husband & wife, but not children.
Club na Piarsaigh
Subscriptions are now due for the 2016 year ahead for anyone paying annually. If you wish to join our scheme this covers your membership for the year. Pearse Og’s
Our Pearse Og programme will begin on Thursday 12th February from 7pm – 8pm for our Primary 1 – Primary 3 children only. Consent forms have been handed into Galbally Primary School during the week and these MUST be brought along on the first night to register.
Big Breakfast 2016
We will be holding our Annual St Patricks Day Mass in St John’s Chapel, Galbally followed by our Annual Big Breakfast morning in Galbally Community Centre with food, music & plenty of entertainment. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
Senior Ladies
Seniors Ladies will start training on 18th February.
Congratulations to Laura Kane who started in Goals for the Tyrone Ladies in their first game of 2016 against Armagh in Drumquin on Sunday 7th February.
Minor Boys
Training continues every Tuesday & Thursday night @ 7pm. This Sunday (14th February) our minors will be attending the Ryan Tierney Tournament hosted by the Clogher Club. Our club will be pushing for 3 in a row in this tournament so a big effort is required from all players to attend – All players MUST be registered for the 2016 season – Membership must be paid in the club on Friday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm – No Exceptions!
Minor Ladies
Training for our Minor ladies is on Monday nights at 7.15pm & Thursday at 8.15pm on 4G pitch. There is a pre-season Minor blitz on Wednesday 17th February in Garvaghy starting @7pm & the minor league commences on Sunday 21st February – date/venue to follow! All players MUST be registered for the 2016 season – Membership must be paid in the club on Friday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm – No Exceptions!
Under 14 (Boys)
Training continues as normal and it is important that everyone is out. Please take note in relation to membership!
Under 14 (Girls)
Training continues on Thursday nights from 7pm to 8pm & Saturdays from 11am to 12noon. This is for all girls from Primary seven up. Please take note in relation to membership!
Youth Team Managers
We thank everyone who volunteered throughout 2015 to help any of our many youth teams – without the help of our coaches and parents it would not be possible. Plans are now being put in place to appoint various coaches and managers for next season. Anyone who is interested either managing a team or helping out in any way for football, boys & girls, please contact Kevin Kelly (Youth Officer).
Club Lotto
This week’s numbers (Tuesday 9th February) were: 6 – 3 – 5 – 14. Our 4 lucky dip winners were; Ann Kelly, Maggie McLaughlin, Pat McCrory & Pat McKeown winning £25 each. Jackpot now stands at £3050. If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office. Lotto is an essential source of income for the club& your continued support is greatly appreciated.
Club Shop
The club shop will be open on Friday Nights from 7.30pm – 8.30pm. Membership can be paid during this time. Stock is limited until delivery in late February.

Sympathy Notices
