Senior Football

Our Senior Footballer are in the Ulster League Final this Sunday 22nd March against Stewartstown at 12:00, venue is to be confirmed. They had a convincing win over Liatroim in the Ulster League Semi Final with a score line of 2:12 to 0:9. We wish all the Players and Management the best of luck in the final, we hope it is the start of a good year for the Pearse’s.

Ladies Football

Piarsaigh an Ghallbhaile is delighted to announce details of an exciting new programme called “Gaelic for Girls” that is commencing on MONDAY 23rd MARCH in Pearse Park Galbally every Monday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Gaelic for Girls is focused on Fun & Participation, allowing girls to get an introduction to Ladies Gaelic Football in an Non-Competitive environment. The programme is aimed at girls between 8-12 years who are not currently registered with our club, but everyone is welcome.

So why join…. every girl that participates gets their own G4G Jersey & Certificate and they will get the opportunity to participate in a blitz after the first 8 weeks. There is also a chance that they may get to play in Croke Park.

This Programme costs £8 for the duration (this is to cover the cost of the Jersey)..

Forms for this will be handed out in school next week and these are to be returned on the first night of registration…if you have any questions please call us on 078 2544 3088 or 077 8743 8771

Youth Football

Minor Boys training will continue on Thursday night at 7:00 sharp. The U14 boys training will continue every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6pm sharp. This Saturday the U14 are away to Ardboe on Saturday morning, bus will leave at 9:30, All support welcome. U14 girls start their league campaign on Wednesday night when they played away to Dromore and on Sunday away to Omagh at 3pm, we wish them all the best for their forthcoming season, Good Luck Girls!

Big Breakfast

Our Big Breakfast this year was again a great success, we would like to THANK you all for coming to our celebrations. To all our helpers we can’t thank you all enough, from cooking to washing dishes to setting up the hall, all your help is much appreciated and the day simply wouldn’t of be as successful without all your help . I think you will all agree all our performers on stage were fantastic we had such great local talent on display, we would like to say thanks to each and every one of you. A special word of thanks to our Culture Officer Mairead Hurson for all the hard work she put in organizing the mass and all the entertainment. To all the Primary School children who took part in our colouring in competition all your entries were brilliant. The winners were as follows P.1 Ryah Brannigan & Lucy Allan, P.2 Anna Kelly & Cassie Quinn, P.3 Aoibheann Donnelly, P.4 Grainne Mullin, P.5 Leanna Corrigan, P.6 Conall Quinn, P.7 Emma Carberry. Now the Big Breakfast is over….it’s soon time to get your bicycles out!

Cycle Launch Night

PATH of the PEARSES Cycle has now been launched to the public. Our Launch night will take place next FRIDAY NIGHT 27th at 7:30 in the Galbally Community Centre, we invite each and every one of you all to our launch night were you will be able to sign up for this event. You can also ‘Like’ us on the new ‘Path of the Pearses’ Facebook page, were you can keep up to date on all that is happening in regarding the cycle. The Cycle will take place on Sunday 16 August.

Membership

Can all members please note that membership can not be received after 28th March. Also it is essential that ALL youth players are members or they will not be allowed to play. Membership can be paid on FRIDAY NIGHT 7:30-8:30 in the club shop. Membership forms can be downloaded from the club website.

Club Shop

Our club shop has now received a new delivery and is all stocked up with the newest gear also they now stock Tyrone Jerseys. The club shop will be open every Friday night 7:30-8:30.
