Piarsaigh An Ghallbhaile Notes: Week Beginning 2nd Of March

Senior Football

Our Seniors had a 6 point win over Slaughmanus (Derry) last Sunday in the Ulster League Campaign. They now play the winners of Belcoo / Owen Roes this Sunday at 12:00 in Pearse Park in the Quarter Final of the Ulster League. We wish them all the best.

Youth Football

This Friday 5th of March is the last session of our current Pearse Og Programme this will be from 7:30 to 8:30. After this programme ends we will be starting u6 and u8 training, we will keep you all updated as soon as this is arranged.

Our u14 boys start of their league campaign this Saturday at 11:00 away to Derrylaughan. We wish the u14 and management all the best for the forthcoming season.

The U14 girls training will continue on Saturdays at 11:00. The U14 girls will also be taking part in the Tyrone Feile on Monday night in Garvaghy, the players will receive more details at training on Saturday. The Minor Boys will have no game this weekend.


Our Club  Membership can now be paid on Friday nights 7:30 to 8:30.


As you all know our Big Breakfast will take place on St Patricks Day 17th March, we hope you can all keep this date free in your diary. The Day will start off with St Patricks Day Mass in St John’s Chapel at 10:00am followed by the Big Breakfast in the Community Centre. For people who attend mass in Altmore, the Big Breakfast will start to be served from 10:00. We hope to see you all there for what will be a great day with live music, dancing and plenty more.
