Men’s Senior Football

This Sunday the 8th of February is the start of the season for the Senior footballers, as they take part in the Ulster League Campaign. Their first match is against An Riocht (Down) at 12 o’clock in Pearse Park. We wish them all the best. Could ALL players please note, the Club Membership MUST be paid before the game on Sunday- No Pay, No Play!

Ladies Football

Training for senior and minor girls continues on Thursday night 7-8pm.

Youth Football
Our Pearse Óg Programme will start this Friday 6th of February at 7:30pm to 8:30pm for all children boys and girls from the classes P.1 to P.3.
Parents/Guardians please note that all children must be members before their take part in our Pearse Óg Programme. Membership will be available to pay from 7:00pm on Friday night in the Community Centre.

Presentation Buffet

Last Friday night we held our presentation buffet. A great night was had by all. Prize winners were as follows Kieran McCrory-John Quinn Cup for Senior Player of the year, Eamon Daly – Terry Kelly Cup for Reserve Player of the year, Colin Campbell -Kieran and Michael McGeary Cup for Youth Player of the year, Anna Donnelly-Ladies Minor player of the Year. The Silverware for 2014 season was presented to Alanna McKeown the ladies minor captain receiving the Grade 2 League Shield. Pauline Bowman received the Owen Nugent Cup for Club Person of the year- Congratulations to everyone, all worthy winners. A Special word of thanks must go to Kieran O’Neill and all the women who helped set up the hall, all your hard work and time spent helping out the club doesn’t go unnoticed – Thanks again.

Culture

All roads lead to Cookstown this Sunday at 5.00pm as our club representatives take part in the Scór Sinsear. We are represented in four different categories Ballad Group, Instrumental group, Quiz and Recitation. We wish them all the best of luck, we have no doubt they will do the club proud. Well Done to our Instrumental group who performed before and during half time of the Tyrone V Monaghan game last Saturday night.

The Big Cycle

As you are all aware we are planning our Club cycle for the Sunday the 16th of August. If anyone is interested in joining the Sub Committee for the cycle, please contact any Committee member.

Club an Phiarsaigh

For all ‘Club an Phiarsaigh’ members it has come around to the time of year again where we would ask you to renew your membership. For existing and any new members who wish to join ‘Club an Phiarsaigh’, please contact a member of the committee We would like to thank everyone for your continued support in ‘Club an Phiarsaigh’, without this our club would simply not be where it is today.

Cardiac Screening Clinic

There is a Heart Screening programme arranged for Saturday 21st February in Tyrone GAA Headquarter, Garvaghey. Screening is open to all 14-35 year olds, (Under 16 must be accompanied by an Adult). Cost £15 per person. To book contact Orla on 02885567723 or email hwb.tyrone@gaa.ie.

Big Breakfast

Our next event will be our BIG BREAKFAST, everyone make sure and keep St.Patricks Day free, more details in the coming weeks.
