The seniors gained some measure of revenge for their championship defeat when they had five points to spare over Dungannon at Pearse Park on Saturday afternoon.
An early goal from Mickey Murphy helped send them on the road to a 1-13 to 0-11 victory. Christopher Morris was outstanding at centre half back notching four points with wing half back Cathal Brannigan and midfielder Kieran McCrory hitting a brace each.
The win moved us onto thirteen points and with two games left to play against Aghyaran and Derrylaughan the promotion playoffs are still a possibility.
