Senior Football
The Seniors and Reserves had mixed fortunes on their trip to Urney at the weekend. The Seniors lost out on a score line or 1-10 to 0-9, while the Reserves sailed to victory on a score line of 7-17 to 3-8.
Youth Football
The minor boys suffered a Championship semi-final defeat to Ardboe on Friday past. Luck was not on their side as Ardboe won 0-12 to 0-9. Commiserations to the players and to the management team of John Moylan, Sean Quinn, Kevin Kelly, Mickey Donaghy and thanks to all for their commitment throughout the year.
The U16 boys were unlucky on Sunday as they lost out in injury time to Errigal Ciaran in the first round of the league. Final score Galbally 2-7 Errigal Ciaran 2-11. They now take on Coalisland this Saturday.
The U16 girls got their league campaign off to a great start on Sunday past, with a 11-10 to 4-5 win over Aodh Ruadh. This Thursday 7th August they host neighbours Donaghmore at 7pm.
U6, U8 and U10 boys training continues on Wednesday from 7pm-8pm.
U10 and U12 girls training continuesthis Wednesday at 7.00pm-8.00pm.
The Pearses Golden Ball Drop
Tickets are now on sale for our upcoming fundraiser, the Golden Ball Drop. On Sunday 7th September at 2.30pm, 11 balls will be dropped from a helicopter (10 worth £50 and one GOLDEN ball worth £1000) onto Pearse Park, which will be lined out in a grid and squares allocated numbers at random. If a ball lands in your square you could be in with a chance of winning one of our prizes. Tickets cost £5 and are available from committee members and players.
Club Lotto
This week’s numbers: 6, 10, 9, 2. Lucky dip winners: Daniel Kerr, Louise Donaghy, Kathleen Mullen, Winnie Kerr (£25). Jackpot now stands at £3600.
 
Club Shop
The club shop is open everyFriday from 7-8pm and during senior home games.
