Anyone looking to order tickets through the club for the Tyrone V Donegal Ulster Final on Sunday 17th July in Clones must submit their request in writing and put in box in Tally’s Mace.  Tickets can be obtained for all areas including Gerry Arthurs (Limited amount – fully seated), Pat McGrane (fully seated), Eastern Stand (Fully Seated) & O’Duffy / Hill Terrace (standing).  Tickets purchased through the club are at a discounted rate than if purchased online.
Only Club an Phiarsaigh and current club members need apply!
This box will be collected on Sunday 10th July at 8pm sharp.  No requests will be accepted after this time.

Senior & Reserve Men
Next up for the Senior and Reserve men will be against Carrickmore in Carrickmore on Sunday 24th July.

Senior Ladies
Our senior Ladies match that was due to be played on Monday night will be rescheduled – date to be confirmed.

U21 Men
Our U21’s continued their good form on Saturday night when they played Stewartstown at home winning on a score line Galbally 2-12 Stewartstown 2-06.

U16 Boys
Training continues as normal in preparation for league – it is important that everyone is out at training.  The first League game has been scheduled away to Clonoe on Wednesday 20th July against Clonoe.

U16 Girls
Training continues as per details within the whatsapp group.  If anyone is not included in the messaging service please contact Sinead McCann.

U12 Boys
Training continues this Thursday evening at 6.30pm sharp.

The next league game for our U12 Boys is on Wednesday 20th July at home to Fintona at 7.15pm.

U12 Girls
Our U12 Girls are playing Pomeroy in Pomeroy at 7.30pm on Thursday 7th July.  All girls to meet in Pomeroy at 7pm.  Remember to bring your club shorts, socks & gum shield.

U10 Boys
Congratulations to our U10 boys on winning the cup at the Camlough tournament on Saturday beating Clann Eirin 2-5 to 1-2 in the final.  A long day for these lads and it was great to come home with some silverware.  Well done to all players and management.  Dates of upcoming blitzes: – 30th July, 20th August, 10th September & 24th September.  Details of venues / times will be confirmed closer to the time.

U8 Boys
Our U8 Boys have a friendly against Donaghmore this Thursday night in Pearse Park @ 7pm.  All players are to be in changing rooms for 6.40pm sharp.  Please come dressed in Galbally jersey, shorts, and socks and with Gum Shield.  Dates of upcoming blitzes: – 23rd July, 13th August, 27th August & 17th September.  Details of venues / times will be confirmed closer to the time.

U6 / U8 / U10 / U12 Boys & Girls
This week’s U8 / U10 / U12 training will take place on Thursday night at 7pm – 8pm SHARP (7pm – 7.45pm sharp for all U6’s).  Any U6’s attending MUST have a parent accompanying them to training.
Can we ask that everyone is there and ready to start at 7pm?

New bollards have been put in place at the lower side of the turnstiles for the safety of all our members.  We would ask that the area in front of the bollards is kept clear in case of emergency.

Gum Shields
EVERYONE who is playing for Galbally Pearses MUST wear a gum shield during training & when playing matches.

Club Wear
Can we ask all parents to ensure that their child (ren) when representing the club in matches / blitzes that they are wearing the club shorts and socks!  These are available in our Club Shop (open Friday nights 7.30pm to 8.30pm)

Summer Camps
Online registrations for all camps will close at 1pm on the Thursday prior to the camp commencing.  Gear will be reserved for all advanced bookings made.  It is important that anyone looking to register for the Kellogg’s Camps get booked asap as there is a limited amount of gear remaining and to ensure that your child gets the gear bookings should be made in advance.

Club Lotto
No Jackpot Winner.  This week’s numbers (Wednesday 6th July) were: – 15, 16, 2 & 5 Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each: – Brendan Hurson, Mary Traynor, Siobhan Hagan, Paul Loughran & Seamus McVeigh.  Our Club – Your Club – One Club.  If you’re not in you can’t win! It could have been you.  Next week’s jackpot is £1150- if you’re not in you can’t win!  Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 12th July @ 9pm!  If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office.  Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.

The Key focus of Club an Phiarsaigh is to provide the finance for the continued development of our fantastic facilities, teams (young and old, male & female) for current and future generations.  Club an Phiarsaigh is central to the future of Gaelic Games in the Galbally area.

Field Signs
We are very privileged to have so many people & business that support our club by various means and this includes field signs located around our main Pitch in Pearse Park.  For some people these are due for renewal and if you haven’t already got your space please contact any committee member to get one organised.

Club Shop
The club shop will open on Friday nights from 7.30pm – 8.30pm.

Well Done
Well done to all the Path of the Pearses Cyclists who took part in the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle last weekend.  Preparations are well on the way for our Sportive on Sunday 7th August.  Well done to all our club members and organisers who took part in the 5 Mile/Km Walk/Run for Mile for Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday.  A fantastic amount of money was raised for the charity.

The Martin Hurson Memorial Cup has now been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 13th July 2016 starting at 4pm.

Saturday 30th July – Cathy McVeigh U12 Girls Tournament
We will be holding the first annual Cathy McVeigh U12 Girls tournament in Pearse Park on Saturday 30th July where we will have 8 clubs attending.  Further details will be given out soon.

Sunday 7th August:- Path of the Pearses Cycle Sportive
Following the major success of our Path of the Pearses club cycle last year, we are hosting a cycle sportive on Sunday 7th August with 30 & 60 miles routes.  This event will be fully supported with stewards, sweeper vans & food stops with refreshments on return.  Cyclists of all abilities welcome (over 16 only).  Sign on is at 7.30am with the first cyclists away at 8am.   £10 Entry per person.

The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of Mary Kane and Sr Carmel McEvoy (Daughters of the Cross).  May they Rest in Peace.  Our thoughts and prayers are with any families in the area who are dealing with bereavement or illness in their family at this time.
