Under 14 (Boys)
Our 14 Boys played against Clonoe at home on Saturday 2nd April.  They started off the game taking the lead in the first half scoring the first 2 points.  Clonoe then took the lead scoring an early goal.  Galbally fought back hard and went into the lead at halftime on a score-line Galbally 1-09 Clonoe 2-02 with goals from James Donnelly & Barry Carberry.  In the second half Galbally’s defence worked very well together keeping Clonoe to only scoring 2 points and with a Peter Cush goal halfway through the second half gave Galbally a good advantage heading into the last 10 minutes and this was finished off with Padraig Quinn finishing of the scores with a great goal.   An overall brilliant performance from this young team scoring all from play and great teamwork in defence.  These lads are now sitting 2nd in the league with 6 points and with only 2 games to play.

Team& Scorers: Odhran Gillespie, Conor McKeown, Jack McElroy, Eoghan Carberry, Darragh McCool, Owen Dickson (0-01), Rory Hetherington, Senan Morgan (0-02), John Hetherington (0-03), Conall Quinn, Barry Carberry (1-03), James Donnelly (0-01), Dara Hetherington (0-01), Darragh Kelly, Peter Cush (1-01).  Subs Used:- Joel Rafferty for Darragh McCool, Conor Kane for Dara Hetherington, Anton Quinn for Conal Quinn, Pádraig Quinn for Senan Morgan.
